Say hi to Luke! So we finally get to date after months of waiting!
This is one very happy girl today :-)
Hangin' around!

Check these out - this was two friends (Patrick and James) and I having some fun in Reykjavik during our free time this evening!
From Northern Europe to the far North!
Wow it's been a long time since i wrote on this blog page. Well, being back in the UK for a few weeks was great. Thanks to all the friends and family who visited. Exhausting but so good to see you all! Kind of weird how normal everything felt. Like things in my life have moved on yet the world has stood still at 'home'!

After UK ports we went to Bremerhaven, Germany. Whilst many stayed behind on the ship as she went into dry dock, a team of us went to TeenStreet Germany in Oldenburg for 2 weeks. This is a big international Christian teen festival held each summer. We went to serve behind the scenes and with the teenagers. I worked in set-up for half a week and then in the pantry washing-up for the rest of the time. We had an awesome time serving and seeing the teens having funn and learning more about the God we serve.
After returning to the ship from TeenStreet, we sailed for the Faroe Islands. We had a short 4 day visit there, during which time we were blessed with outings and were able to bless the people there with our International Night and other ministry events.
Now we are in Reykjavic, Iceland! The first ever visit of an OM ship here! Today they have a large all-day cultural festival and we have been lucky enough to take part throughout the afternoon and also this evening, performing dances, dramas, giving challenges... and the choir will sing tonight.
It is pretty cold. Very strange last night to think that it was 9pm and broad daylight but freezing cold... If it wasn't for the cold you would believe it was mid-summer, which indeed it is so we ate icecream anyway!!
Oh yeah, and I forgot to say we had a stormy voyage to Iceland! it was awesome!! Imagine 5:30 in the morning getting ready for work with things launching themselves at you from the shelves in your cabin... and then arriving in the galley to find eggs smashed all over the floor and pans lying everywhere and table units fallen over with the machine on the floor etc etc! All very exciting, especially as the ship was still rolling... no point really clearing up too much... hehe :-)
