Mosquito control

Lots of work at present in the run-up to finals. Going really well though. I am enjoying most my work. Just finished an essay on Anopheles mosquitos and invertebrate predators - basically the use of biological control agents on mosquitos. It's more interesting than many of the essays I have to write as it's much more zoological. All of my classmates opted to do the microorganisms module, except for me. I'm bored of bacteria and wanted to do a more environmental-management type module! Really different learning strategies for this module as a result but I am glad I chose it. Mosquito control and disease is really interesting to learn about, especially as it has such a big impact on the developing world. I have one more essay to write this weekend (on new discoveries and how much of these are dependent on the evolution of techniques - or something like that), plus I have to hand in the portfolio of journals I used in writing my dissertation next week - As I don't get to keep hold of them until my oral exam after Easter, I want to skim through them all and make sure I don't want any further information from them. Ciao.
